The 61st District Court has changed its online search capability making it difficult if not impossible to find information regarding collection lawsuits. In the past you could find the name and address of the Creditors attorney, whether service had been made or a judgment entered, and the address of the person sued. Now if Joe Smith is sued there is no way to tell if which Joe Smith was sued. Fortunately, if you find yourself with a Judgment in 61st District or any other Court, that debt is still dischargeable in Bankruptcy.
